Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026 · v1.0
1. Introduction
Furniture-Parts.com (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Furniture-Parts”) is a service of Tri County Furniture Service, Inc., a Florida corporation with its principal place of business at 901 Northpoint Parkway, Suite 308, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. We operate an e-commerce website at https://furniture-parts.com that sells replacement parts for power recliners, lift chairs, sectionals, and other motion furniture.
This Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the rights you have with respect to your personal information. This policy applies to information collected through our website, our AI-assisted chat feature (the “Parts Concierge”), our email and phone communications, and any related services we offer.
By using our website, our chat feature, or providing information to us, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our website or services.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
When you place an order, contact us, or use our chat, you may provide:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses
- Payment information: credit card details are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway; we do not store full credit card numbers on our systems
- Order information: products purchased, order history, shipping preferences
- Communications: emails, chat messages, phone call records, and photos or documents you upload (for example, a photo of a motor label)
- Account information: if you create an account, your username and password
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers
- Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on site, referring website, search terms used
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how our site is used
2.3 Information we collect through the Parts Concierge (AI-assisted chat)
Our website includes an AI-assisted chat feature called the Parts Concierge. When you use this chat, we collect:
- The messages you send and any information you provide in those messages
- Any contact information you share (name, email, address, phone)
- Photos or files you upload during the chat
- Session metadata: timestamps, duration, IP address, and technical information about the chat session
The chat is powered by an AI model provided by Anthropic PBC (“Anthropic”). Your messages are transmitted to Anthropic’s systems to generate responses. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under a contract that restricts their use of your information to providing the chat service to us. Anthropic does not use your chat data to train their AI models.
The chat prominently displays an “AI-assisted chat” indicator so you are informed you are interacting with an AI system. You can request to speak with a human team member at any time by calling 561-221-0230 or emailing parts@tricounty.biz.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To process and fulfill your orders, including special orders
- To communicate with you about your orders, shipping updates, returns, and customer service inquiries
- To operate and improve the Parts Concierge chat and our website
- To identify the correct replacement parts for your furniture, including through the chat
- To source parts we do not stock in our warehouse from third-party retailers and suppliers on your behalf, as part of our special-order service
- To send you promotional emails and offers (only if you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms of service
- To review chat conversations for quality assurance and to improve our service
4. When we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service providers
We share information with third parties who provide services on our behalf, including:
- Payment processors (for processing credit card transactions)
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, and others, to deliver your orders)
- Anthropic PBC (to power the Parts Concierge chat)
- Third-party parts retailers and suppliers (to fulfill special-order requests)
- Website hosting and analytics providers
- Customer service and email marketing platforms
These service providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
4.2 Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
4.3 Business transfers
If Tri County Furniture Service, Inc. or Furniture-Parts.com is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
4.4 With your consent
We may share your information with third parties when you have given us your consent to do so.
5. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide you with services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:
- Order and transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with tax and financial recordkeeping requirements
- Customer service and support communications: retained for 3 years
- Parts Concierge chat transcripts: retained for 12 months for quality assurance, policy accuracy auditing, and dispute resolution, then deleted or anonymized
- Marketing communications (if you opted in): retained until you unsubscribe or 3 years of inactivity, whichever comes first
- Account information: retained while your account is active; deleted upon your request or 5 years of account inactivity
6. How we protect your information
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access or disclosure. These measures include encrypted transmission of payment information (SSL/TLS), secure storage systems, access controls limiting employee access to personal information on a need-to-know basis, and third-party payment processors who are PCI-DSS compliant.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
7. Your rights and choices
7.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”):

8. Additional disclosures about our AI-assisted chat
California law (Business and Professions Code Section 17940 et seq., commonly known as SB 1001) and comparable laws in other jurisdictions require us to disclose when you are interacting with an automated system rather than a human. Our Parts Concierge chat is powered by artificial intelligence. This is disclosed:
- Through the “AI-assisted chat” indicator visible at all times in the chat interface
- In the welcome message when you begin a chat conversation
- In this Privacy Policy
The Parts Concierge is designed to help you find parts, quote special orders, offer installation services, and answer questions about our store. It is not a substitute for professional advice on complex furniture repairs, and it does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.
You may request to speak with a human team member at any time by calling 561-221-0230 or emailing parts@tricounty.biz. Our team is available during regular business hours.
The chat may occasionally make mistakes or provide inaccurate information. If you believe the chat has given you incorrect information about a policy, price, or product, please contact us directly to confirm before making a purchase decision.
9. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may limit some functionality of our website (for example, your shopping cart may not persist between visits).
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies: required for the website to function (shopping cart, session management)
- Preference cookies: remember your settings and preferences
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use our site (Google Analytics or similar)
- Marketing cookies (if applicable): may be used to show you relevant ads; you can opt out through your browser or ad settings
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at parts@tricounty.biz.

If you visit our site or provide us with information from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. Data protection laws in the United States may differ from those in your country. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or the law. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, when appropriate, provide notice through our website or by email.
